Driveways
TJ Lords are specialists in Block Paved Driveway Fittings, using principally Indian Sandstone. We excavate to the correct level of foundation and consolidate the base with a membrane.
The type of block used should reflect the character of your home be it rustic or contemporary. Many features can be incorporated into your driveway fitting, including circles and octagons. Lighting not only adds beauty to your driveway but also added security.
Paving sealers are used, protecting the surface from fading due to ultraviolet light, reducing algae and lichen growth and protecting against oil stains. Maintenance is thus kept to a minimum regardless of whether the driveway is new or existing.
Drainage is also important and if necessary runoff areas or soakaways will be provided.
Indian Sandstone
A high quality sandstone paving slab range. Available in a range of colours and thicknesses. Ideal for patios, paths, driveways, outdoor dining areas and even for interior use.
Sandstones are vintage solid stone formed from sand-size grains cemented together.

GRP Roofing
Glass reinforced plastic flat roofs, also called GRP or fibreglass roofs, are an increasingly common choice for flat roofs. We are approved suppliers of the Topseal brand of GRP roof, and this is the main system we use for our flat roofs.
About the Topseal system
Topseal is a BBA-approved flat roofing system without any joints or seams. This gives it an extremely high level of performance while remaining very light weight. It also has excellent environmental credentials.
One of the big attractions of the Topseal system is that it can be finished in any British Standard (BS4800), so can match any building or structure perfectly. Another advantage is that it can be adapted with non-slip properties for areas with heavy foot traffic, such as balconies or walkways.
